About the Old Boys' Union

The Rondebosch Old Boys' Union was established in 1909 by Headmaster Sydney "Dad" Mason, to keep Old Boys in touch with each other and with the school, and to support the boys and staff of Rondebosch.

More than a century on, it is one of the largest school alumni organisations in South Africa, with over 8,000 members across 47 countries. The Union runs the Old Boys' Union and Heritage Centre at the High School, arranges reunions and events, and raises funds that support the life of the Schools.

Staying connected is the point. Whether an Old Boy is in Rondebosch or on the other side of the world, the Union is how the Rondebosch family keeps looking after its own and the school that shaped them.
