From the Bridge House Bursary Foundation

A quiet way for the Bridge House community to look after their homes, and to open the school's doors to a child who would not otherwise get the chance.

The Bridge House Bursary Foundation has arranged a preferred CleanMyBed service for the school's families, staff, and wider community. A share of every booking comes back to the Foundation, helping fund a full Bridge House education for a bursary student.

An invitation from the Foundation

Since Bridge House began, bursaries have opened the door to a quality education for students who would not otherwise have had the chance, made possible by the generosity of individuals and partners.

We have arranged with CleanMyBed, the medical-grade mattress sanitising service, to offer the Bridge House community a preferred rate. Every booking through this page also contributes to the Bursary Foundation.

About the Bursary Foundation

The Bridge House Bursary Foundation exists to bring new bursary students into the school each year and give them the full Bridge House education, everything the school has to offer, from Grade 8 through to Matric.

A bursary is more than school fees. The Foundation works with donors to support tuition, boarding, books and uniforms, and the wider experiences, sport, cultural and service activities, and Round Square exchanges, that make a Bridge House education whole. Past recipients go on to mentor those who follow them.

It is a long-term commitment to one child at a time, and a lasting one: an education that equips a young person to thrive long after they leave the school.

  • Do I have to be a current Bridge House parent to use this?

    No. The preferred rate is open to the wider Bridge House community, including current and past families, staff, and anyone the Foundation wishes to share it with.

  • How does the contribution work?

    Ten percent of every CleanMyBed booking made through this page is paid to the Bridge House Bursary Foundation as part of CleanMyBed's monthly settlement, supporting its bursary work.

  • Is the service identical to a standard CleanMyBed booking?

    Yes. Same trained operators, same medical-grade equipment, same dry process, same digital certificate. The collaboration changes how the booking value is distributed, not the service you receive.

  • Where does CleanMyBed operate?

    Across the Western Cape, including the Franschhoek valley, and a growing list of South African territories. The booking page will confirm availability in your area before you commit.

  • Is my contribution tax-deductible?

    Your CleanMyBed booking is a commercial transaction and CleanMyBed does not issue tax receipts. Questions about donations to the Bursary Foundation and any tax documentation are best directed to Bridge House.
